My name is José, I’m 26 years old and I’m from México City. I studied economics at ITAM and since 3 years ago I've been part of a social entrepreneurship that consists of working side by side with marginalized mexican women that produce organic tea. I really enjoy reading a great book, playing soccer and hanging out with my friends.
Why have you decided to join Klar in the first place?
Ever since I studied economics I always wanted to introduce myself into the financial sector but with a player that did things in a different way. When I knew about Klar it was a no brainer. We are trying to bring revolutionary financial products for people who don’t have access to traditional financial institutions.
What is the most exciting part of your role at Klar?
Being part of a revolutionary team that stands for a bigger purpose. It’s all about getting the best out of us.
And what’s been the best part of working from Klar’s Mexico office?
Being surrounded by really smart people always willing to help and learn at the same time. The fact that there are people from all over the world has taught me different perspectives that otherwise I would have never known.
What motivates your daily work at Klar?
The commitment and effort put by the rest of the team on a daily basis. This desire inspires me to deliver the best effort possible.
Can you tell us about your career journey at Klar?
I joined Klar right after I graduated from school back in 2020. I started as a junior business architect in the growth team, especially CRM. At that moment the team consisted only of me and 2 more guys and it was all about learning the CRM basics and supporting the rest of the team.
Around 9 months later I got promoted to business architect and the role was not only operating but doing precise analysis, being part of strategic projects and little by little giving my input. At this time the team has grown and an intern joined the CRM team.
9 months later I got promoted to senior business architect and as the business grew, the need for more hands grew as well. Now I’m leading a CRM team that consists of myself and 3 more persons.We are supporting and operating several campaigns not only for the growth team but also for credit, ops and social media teams.
